Interactive Channel Check

The Channel Check is simply used for your channel checks. Here it will list all show names current to your chart. The Channel Check will list each show name individually. The channel numbers are listed by lowest to highest. There are red strike thru buttons for each channel number, which is a way for you to indicate that a channel has been struck from the show, and you can return the channel back to the channel check at any time.

The green button next to the show name at the top of the list will start the interactive channel check. Once the channel check starts it will highlight the first channel in the list, and bring up the channel check controls at the bottom. The channel check controls consist of two last buttons, two next buttons, a button to report channels with problems directly to the Work Notes Tab, and a stop channel check button.

The channel check highlights the channel that your on so you will never loose your place, but also, it will throw the channels data into the work notes tab if you click on the report channel problems button when you encounter them. So as you are nexting thru your channels and you encounter a problem; either a focus note, or a burn out, or anything else; with the channel with the problem highlighted click on the report problem button in the channel check controls. This will throw the channels information into the Work Notes Tab where you can describe the problem it's having in detail.

In The Work Notes Tab, under the Channel Check Work Notes, you will find the channel's data you are having problems with. There are check boxes for focus problems, and for burn outs, there is also a text box if you need to give more detail. Once you click on the save button in the Work Notes Tab, The DMX Chart will take you right back to the channel check and the last channel that you were on when you encountered the problem, and you can continue on with the interactive channel check.
